US, Canada Representatives Join Global Accounting Rule Maker

The International Accounting Standards Board announced the appointment of two new members representing the Americas Thursday, although it remains below full strength.

Former Deloitte LLP US partner Robert Uhl will join the IASB in September for a five-year term, along with Linda Mezon-Hutter, who used to head the Canadian Accounting Standards Board. They replace Tom Scott, who left the board, and Mary Tokar, who is leaving after her term on the board was extended from the end of June to the end of August.
