Group of Seven finance leaders voiced support for mandatory corporate sustainability reporting, and called for requirements to cover small companies as well as large ones.
The finance ministers and central bank governors from leading industrial nations issued a statement of support Friday for the International Sustainability Standards Board, and called on it to develop reporting standards for issues beyond climate. They also called on national and regional bodies to cooperate with the ISSB in developing global standards.
