Global Sustainability Board to Set up Americas Hub in Montreal

The International Sustainability Standards Board is setting up a regional hub in Montreal to coordinate its activities across the Americas.

The IFRS Foundation, parent of the ISSB, has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada to set up the new center, which will share responsibility for setting sustainability reporting standards for companies and will host some ISSB meetings.
