ESG Standard Setter Close to Complete With Three New Members

Three new board members were named Tuesday to the International Sustainability Standards Board, although only 10 of the planned 14 members will be in place by the time of the ISSB’s second meeting in September.

The new members join from two German companies and a Japanese pension fund. Their appointments mean that the ISSB has announced 13 members, with the final one to be announced “shortly,” the corporate-reporting standards organization said in an emailed statement Tuesday.
